your light will shine when all else fades

thursday(which was yesterday) we had caregroup at krisstle's place. luan was supposed to be leading the caregroup, but her school ended late and she couldn't meet us. so, she entrusted me the job to lead the caregroup. we spent quiet time together as a caregroup.
anyway- thank God for dawn. it was her first time yesterday to lead guitar-playing for caregroup yesterday, and she did great. (: i led worship, and was pretty okay. i felt more could have been done. i felt that the atmosphere was almost there- but not quite yet. =/
that was random.
all rights.
i've been reflecting a lot lately.
what have i been doing?
i sometimes wonder what is wrong with me to be so unmotivated.
and i was just reminded again: if God is so real in our lives- it's only natural for us to tell the people about Him.
isn't that so true?
when we know how great a movie is, we want to share the joy of watching the movie with others, and we therefore spread about the movie and encourage the others to watch it. isn't it the same with God? if He is so real in our lives, and if we really love Him, we'll just go all out to babble on and on and on and on about Him! because He is so real! and when you share with deep conviction about what you believe; i'm sure the rest will too be convicted about Him and they will want to know Him themselves.
but if we really love God, and we know how real He is, then what may be the thing to stop us from doing what we should do?
God spoke to me about the area about being shameful at spreading His gospel. people don't dare to share about Him to others because they felt ashame, or embarrassed, to talk about it.
but hey, WHAT'S SO SHAMEFUL?
to tell you the truth- IT'S THE MOST GLORIOUS THING ONE CAN EVER DO.
think about it: it's God that you know. God of Gods, King of Kings, Creator of All. WOAH. amazing isn't it? how great our God can be. and in fact, shouldn't we be proud to have a RELATIONSHIP with such a GREAT figure like Him? ahh. it's ironic that we actually sometimes feel shameful of being a committed Christian.
we're such losers at times.
BE PROUD OF IT: we're God's children.
anyways- this is a 6-min film, "The Room". Storyline adapted from Joshua Harris' "The Room". watch it; be changed by it. (:
